The
Bissau
Campus

Three years ago, WAVS opened its flagship campus so that thousands of young men and women can gain life-changing job skills. Now it’s time to bring the campus to life.
We’ve constructed the buildings, but they’re all surrounded by dirt – and lots of it! We’ve got a blank canvas just waiting to be painted with bright and beautiful tropical trees and flowers. That’s why we’re raising $20,000 to landscape the Bissau campus. We want to create a space that fosters community, connection, and pride.
This project is about more than trees and pathways — it’s about creating a place where students take ownership of their education and their future. WAVS welding students will even play a role in building a new pergola and shade structure, gaining hands-on experience as they contribute to their school. Your gift will help plant the seeds of transformation — will you be part of this?
Plant flowers and greenery to add color and life to the campus.
Lay fresh grass to create inviting areas for students.
Plant a tree to provide lasting shade and beauty.
Buy part of the supplies to build the pergola, giving welding students hands-on experience.
Sponsor part of the pathway connecting the different buildings.
Create a lasting tribute by dedicating a bench in honor of someone special.
A personalized plaque will be installed, leaving a meaningful legacy on campus.
WAVS is building a new, 28-acre campus in the heart of Guinea-Bissau that will train five times an many students as we do today. Once complete, the campus will serve more than 2,000 students each year – all while sharing God’s love through word and deed.
Thanks to your generosity, Phase 1 and the Phase 2 second classroom building are complete. Your gift today will help us landscape the Bissau campus and tie everything together.
Over the next seven years, WAVS will complete future phases that will include additional classroom buildings, workshops, a small café, guest house, a small hotel and a main “hub” center for the campus.
