Today we launch One Student.

One Student is a community of monthly givers

A new way for you to equip young West Africans with job skills every month.

We live in difficult and uncertain times. Here at home, each of us is making daily sacrifices to care for our families and loved ones. And all around the world, people face the same fears and unknowns. Perhaps never before has the world been more united by a common set of challenges.

And in this moment, we not only have the chance to practice acts of kindness and relief, but also to begin investing in our shared recovery.

In places like West Africa, that means preparing young people for work.

And we can do that – One Student at a time.

Starting today, you can join a community of monthly givers who believe in a world where everyone has the opportunity to provide for themselves and their families. As a member of the One Student Community, your monthly gift will help equip a young man or woman in West Africa with a new job skill so they can earn a reliable income for the rest of their life.

One Student members will see their impact up close.

One student impact report example. As a member of one student you will see your impact up close including the number of students you have personally impacted.

At the end of every three-month term at the WAVS School, you will receive an impact report with the latest data, including the number of students you have helped since first joining One Student.

In addition, you will have access to a brand new feature we built for the One Student Community called The Yearbook (preview it here). Every three months, we’ll update The Yearbook with a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of the students and teachers at the WAVS School, including the latest photos and videos.
