The new WAVS campus in West Africa is scheduled to open soon, but first it needs to be stocked with textbooks, computers, desks and chairs. To keep everything on schedule, all supplies must be purchased by the end of the year.
Cover the cost of materials needed for WAVS welding students to build desks for the new campus.
Help fund a solar power system, which will provide electricity for the classroom building.
This holiday season, you can invest in the future leaders of West Africa by helping open the new WAVS campus in the capital of Guinea-Bissau!
For the last 13 years, the WAVS schools in Guinea-Bissau have equipped over 1,300 young people with life-changing job skills. One year after completing their courses, more than 75% of graduates are working or continuing their studies. This means that young people like Vasco, Deusa, and Rosa can now use their own skills and abilities to provide for themselves and their families – for the rest of their lives.
But this is just the beginning. Once complete, the new WAVS campus will be able to train 1,000 students each year.
